Tutorial for a kitchen set-up

Setting up a kitchen is one of the hardest things for me as the result mostly looks quite dull to me. This is why I like to get inspired by others’ ideas.I found this partiular “constellation” in one of Awesims' homes in Pounawea and finally found out how it is done.

The instructions are in the captions.

Please tell me if you found this tutorial useful :)

Reblogging for future use~ I always have need for this, haven’t figured out how to do it till now! c: Thank you one-plumbob!

So, I haven’t been closely documenting this challenge, but I’ve been playing and having fun with it! Pounawea has been a nice neighborhood to play in, loads real fast.. I threw some community lots in, and I can’t wait to see how it grows!

I also have been expanding on my home lot quite a bit! Making big buck off dat produce! But now that winter has come the crop has ceased, so I’ve had to resort to other means for income. 3 weeks and 2 days in game, this is how my house is looking. c: Pretty basic, but I’ve built it pretty much a room at a time.

And he got a lady to move in! (and her parents too, they were in her household, and I figured why not? I’m sure they’ll be helpful haha)

Being a gatherer is paying off for Roman, he cashed in some gems and small rare critters, earned him enough for his own restroom! (and a tan! haha) He rolled the wish to buy a shower and a toilet, so I had him saving with the goal of a bathroom!

This is actually a very rewarding way to play haha, if I get far enough in this challenge I may have to have a future heir run away! Now that the restroom is built, he rolled the wish to make an online dating profile.. TO THE LIBRARY!

I’ve started the Rags2Riches challenge, this is my runaway nomad, Roman Pits:
Loves the Outdoors | Gatherer | Frugal | Green Thumb | Kleptomaniac

His lifetime goal is to have $50,000 worth of stolen goods in his possession. It’s not that he does it for sport, he feels like he needs to, to secure his future. He ran away to a town called Pounawea in hopes of securing a new future for his name.

Nothing to his name but a backpack and a tent, Roman’s had a rough start on life. He’d rather not say what he’s running from, he left his past in Bridgeport, and intends to keep it buried there.

Rags to Riches Challenge

Your sim has just run away from something; home? work? a bad relationship? You decide. They find themselves in a new town, with only a small backpack, $100 and a sleeping bag/tent. They are homeless, and with only a small amount of money they need to start working to stop themselves from going broke and starving to death. The challenge is to earn as much money as possible without having a paid job.

The Rules:

When your sims arrives in town, move them into an empty lot. Then buy them a backpack and a sleeping bag/tent. Then using the ‘familyfunds’ cheat, set their family funds to $100.
Your sim can earn their money in any way the want, other than actually getting a paid job.
You cannot use any money cheats to buy skill items, so your sim must either learn skills from the library or doing tasks, or they earn the money to buy skill items.
Your sim can use any of the towns facilities, such as the pool or the gym to shower and go to the bathroom. If they make friends they can also use the bathroom at their friends house.
Your sim CANNOT move in with another sim. They must make all their money on their own. If they get married they can keep the money the other sim brings, but they cannot move into the other sims house.
When your sim has enough money you can start buidling a house of the empty lot they own.
Your sim can get food in any way they want, whether its eating contests at the festival lots or harvesting food from community gardens. If they have the money they can buy food or eat out.

Your Sim:

You can pick any traits for you sim, but it will be useful if they have traits which will help them, such as ‘green-thumb’ or ‘gatherer’ or ‘natural cook’.
Your sim can be any gender, age, race, life form… literally anything.
Their lifetime wish can be anything you want it to be, and obviously one of the goals is to get them their lifetime wish.

The Goal:

The main goal of this challenge is to take your sim from broke and homeless to having a beautiful house, with plenty of money and food, without them ever having to work a job.
You can set other goals along the way, such as reaching your sims lifetime wish, or earning a certain amount of money, or raising a child with very little money.
If you do choose to try this challenge, you can tag your posts with “Rags2Riches” or “rags to riches challenge” so other people who are doing the challenge (probably just myself lol) can see how your sim is progressing.
Happy simming!

I need another game like I need a hole in my head but it seems so fun

Wish I didn’t see this now, I want to do it! Soon~
